I can finally drive without my 8.5 lb dog try to sit in my lap. It sits up high enough and close enough so she feels secure. The front will fold down about half way so the ac can reach her, and it is roomy enough for her to lay down. Very simple to install in my Ford Fusion. I would highly recommend this product.

This car bed was the perfect thing for our dog on our long car ride from LA to San Francisco. She fits in it pretty well, but if she were any larger, maybe not. Our dog is sm/med size and weighs about 14 lbs. Luckily, the front of the bed folds down so she hadv a place to rest her head. I also liked that this doubles as a dog purse. The long straps are great.

We love this seat already! Our almost 14 year old PomChi has had issues riding in the car for a few years now. We hated to drug him and then this seat came along. We leave his harness on and he feels secure and doesn't try to jump on us. We had to use it backwards, he's a little longer but I was tired of waiting for a bigger size. Works great for us!!

I confused the size with another seat I was looking at so wrote a 4 star review based on the size stated for a different seat. So I needed to upgrade my review. My Maci is so comfortable in this seat. She’s 13 lbs and there’s not much extra room but I like that she feels secure. I have a larger console in my Lincoln Aviator and it’s perfect. It’s so nice that she can see out and feels close to me so doesn’t try to get into my lap.

I have a Boston Terrier puppy, Penny. We tried a doggy car seat that required her to sit in the backseat. Well, she wasn't having that. She would bark and whine and try to jump out even though she was buckled in with her harness. So I looked around and found this. It's perfect!I have a Ford Fusion so it's not huge and this still fits perfectly on the console between the driver and passenger front seats. On a typical car ride, she'll sit regally for a few minutes like she is the queen of the world (picture 1), then she'll settle down either with her blanket (picture 2) or on her own for the ride (picture 3). She has begun to lay down almost immediately after we start driving because the bed is comfortable and she can be next to her people.I just wish the strap that hooks to the harness was a little different. She's very small and it's on the shortest setting and it's still a little longer than I like but it's all good. She is currently 4.5 months old and almost 13 pounds and it's a perfect size for her.

Placed between the front seats of our Honda Accord. Keeps our dog where she likes to be and where we want her (rather than trying to get on our lap). Well made with the front side able to be fully closed, partially open, or opened all the way. Suggest buyers make sure to review the size of this dog car seat as compared to the space between the front seats of your vehicle to ensure a good fit.

I loved how easy this was to install. Our 6lb Maltese loves to sit in between us in the front seat. She feels very safe. I definitely recommend it.

This is one of the best buys I have made for my 6 month old Yorkie! We just took a 4 hour trip one way that turned into a 6+ hour trip and she was wonderful. She can see what is going on and she can sleep or rest. It is sturdy and comfortable and I love the way it attaches between the front seats and that it has a safety latch for her harness that would keep her from being thrown out if we were to wreck. A must have for small puppies!
